This track is the product of an international on-line collaboration that began duing the depths of Covid lockdown between Buddahat (Birmingham, UK) and Cakehead (Copenhagen, Denmark). We began sharing musical ideas in 2021 and finally produced the double A-side release 'Gemba' and 'Heavy Metal Moon' in January 2023.

The woozy sounds of Heavy Metal Moon are inspired by the slow, dreamlike memories of the lockdown experience and how we filled our spare time.

The laid back, low fi sounds of Gemba are inspired by the post-lockdown return to work and once again having to listen to meaningless, corporate jargon day in day out.

When you've finishing listening to Gemba, flip the record over to side AA and visit Buddahat's page (buddahat.bandcamp.com) to listen to Heavy Metal Moon.
